An international security expert, Ibrad I brahim has urged Ghanaians pilgrimage to perform Hajj rituals this year without fears.
I n an interview with Appiah-Kubi the host of “Oman mu nsem” on Alpha radio 104.9, Mr. Ibrahim reiterated that apart from the measures put in place by Ghana government and for the matter the National Hajj Board , to ensure safety and security of Ghanaians pilgrimages.
The Saudi Arebia government has maximum her security to ensure safety before, during and after the rituals.
The 2015 Mina stamped which resulted in about 717 dead people have been horrific in the history of Hajj. The Authority of Saudi Arebia has boosted the security mechanisms by adding over thousand security cameras to the existing once.
Each pilgrimage will have an information dissemination machine that will monitor the movement of each of them. The principal roads and streets in Mecca have been expanded to ensure free movement of cars and pilgrims.
Finally Mr. Ibrahim advice pilgrims to adhere to the security precautions by leaders of the contingent.
